Jackey is a beautiful women, wife to Jim, and mother of Jamie, Natasha and Nicole, aged 24,20 & 13. She is also the dedicated Grandmother of two, aged 3 years and 6 weeks.
Jacky was born in Mareeba on the Atherton Tableland at the base of Cape York Peninsula in North Queensland. She is a Wakaman descendant whose Tribal area stretches out to Chillagoe. She has been painting for over 15 years and uses a number of different styles ranging from traditional forms to a more contemporary style that she is currently exploring.
Her striking art work depicting the Flora and Fauna of Far North Queensland has been rendered on boomerangs, clap sticks, traditional bark, pottery and modern canvass has been taken home by people from around the world. Jackeys art has incredible appeal
